The NAACP releases the responses to the 2008 Presidential Candidate Civil Rights Questionairre

The NAACP Presidential Candidate Questionnaire is now available!!!!

The questionnaire contains questions and the candidates' answers on issues of crucial importance to the NAACP and the communities we serve. The questions, and the topics that were included in the questionnaire, all pertain to the NAACP public policy priorities. In each case, we asked the candidates to limit their responses to 200 words or less.

Click Here to access the questionnaire, or contact the NAACP Washington Bureau at (202) 463-2940.

We hope that you find this a useful, effective and thoughtful tool.

Sincerely,
Hilary O. Shelton
Director; NAACP Washington Bureau

Hello. I'm a poster at Bossip. I just want to thank Mr. Myles for coming to the site February 13, 2008, to discuss the Julian Bond/delegate seating issue. I didn't see his post (your post) at this site, so I'm assuming you wrote it just for Bossip.

Thank you for trying to straighten out the record of what's been going on with Julian Bond, the national NAACP, and Bond's statement on Michigan and Florida.

I am placing your site in my bookmarks. I am glad you are also looking out for the young ones, those who never get the tv specials and instant prime time bulletins; I hope Ms. Gray is found, too.

Please keep being strong, and helping the community become stronger, and helping others become strong with us on this shared journey.
